About The Artist

Francesco Pollon began studying classical guitar at the age of 11 with Maestro Gianni Cuzzolin. At the same time he approaches the piano, first as a self-taught, then under the guidance of Nicola Dal Bo, Paolo Birro and Piotr Wyleżoł, studying at the Conservatory of Vicenza and at the Krakow Music Academy. In 2018 he obtained the 2nd level academic degree in Music Disciplines – Jazz with 110/110 and honors at the “Arrigo Pedrollo” conservatory of Vicenza.

As a classical guitarist (7 years of studies), in 2010 he obtained the exam of inferior completion of guitar at the “E. F. Dall’Abaco” Conservatory in Verona.

For some years he has been studying classical piano with the masters Riccardo Zadra, Francesca Giovannelli and Daniela Vidali.

Francesco attended several seminars (Veneto Jazz, Umbria Jazz, Siena Jazz, Nuoro Jazz) where he specialized with Franco D’Andrea, Dado Moroni, Stefano Battaglia, John Taylor, Adam Holzman, David Virelles, Claudio Fasoli, Anat Cohen, Walter Smith III, Giovanni Agostino Frassetto, Jeff Hirshfield, Alex Sipiagin J. Kyle Gregory, Rory Stweart and he was awarded several scholarships.
